General Terms & Conditions
  1. The promotion that gives out DFS and ifc mall offers (the "Promotion") organized by MasterCard Asia/Pacific Hong Kong Ltd ("MASTERCARD") is open to all MasterCard cardholders (both principal and supplementary cardholders).
  2. Promotion period:
    • DFS Galleria: August 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008, both days inclusive
    • ifc mall: August 26, 2008 to October 12, 2008
  3. MASTERCARD has the sole and absolute discretion to exclude any cardholder (including but not limited to any cardholder who does not operate their accounts in a satisfactory manner as determined by the relevant issuing banks in their sole discretion) from the Promotion without any obligation to furnish any notice and/or reason.
  4. By entering the Promotion, each participant fully and unconditionally agrees to these terms and conditions and accepts that the decision of MASTERCARD and its external auditors regarding the Promotion and all matters related to it (including without limitation, the interpretation of these terms and conditions) is final and binding and no queries shall be entertained.
  5. MASTERCARD reserves the right to vary the offer details and associated terms and conditions herein at any time at its absolute discretion without notice.
  6. MASTERCARD, its members, associated companies and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents shall not, to the fullest extent permissible by law, be liable in any way whatsoever in respect of the following:
    1. any amount charged to a participant’s account in the course of enjoying merchant offers
    2. virus or other corruption, technical or mechanical error or failure, human error, negligence or unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry processes or the operation or administration of the Promotion;
    3. any liability, loss, injury, claim or damage (including without limitation death or personal injury) incurred or suffered by any winner, other participant or other person which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any participation in the Promotion or the receipt, use or misuse of any prize. Each participant shall indemnify and hold harmless MASTERCARD, its members, associated companies and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents against any claim, action, proceeding, judgment, damage, loss, expense or liability made against or incurred by the same in connection with such participant’s participation in the Promotion and, in the case of a winner, the receipt, use or misuse of any prize by any person.
  7. MASTERCARD reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, terminate or suspend this Promotion in the event that the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Promotion be interfered with or otherwise impaired for any reason whatsoever and, if the Promotion is so modified, terminated, or suspended, select a winner(s) from eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to such event.
  8. If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions becomes or is invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect under any law, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected of impaired.
  9. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of The HKSAR Government and participants of the Promotion agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the HKSAR.
  10. In case of discrepancy between English version and Chinese translation of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
  11. The Offers are subject to change without prior notice.

DFS Galleria Gift Certificate Terms & Conditions
  1. The Promotion is held between August 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotional Period") at all DFS outlets in Hong Kong & Macau. Valid MasterCardR cardholders ("Cardholders") are eligible to participate in the Promotion.
  2. Cardholders spending HKD/MOP3,000.00 or more ("Required Spending") in a single sales receipt with their MasterCard branded cards using MasterCard network process (Not China Union Pay) at any DFS outlets in Hong Kong & Macau will be entitled to one DFS Galleria Gift Certificate valued at HKD/MOP300 ("Voucher") for the next purchase.
  3. One Voucher will be given to each sales transaction meeting the Required Spending.
  4. The Voucher is valid only when duly stamped by authorized party.
  5. The Voucher is valid for the purchase of any items up to the value stated on the front of DFS Gift Voucher, except at the following branded shops:
    • Louis Vuitton & CHANEL Boutiques at DFS Galleria Chinachem & DFS Galleria Macao
    • Prada Boutique at DFS Galleria Macao
    • Hermes Boutique at DFS Galleria Macao
    • Dior Boutiques at DFS Galleria Macao
  6. The Voucher is not refundable nor redeemable for cash.
  7. The Voucher is not valid after the expiry date and no compensation will be made to Cardholders.
  8. Replacement will not be made in case of loss of the Voucher.
  9. The Voucher shall be valid until on January 31, 2009.
  10. Cardholders understand and accept that all products and services are not provided by MasterCard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited or MasterCard International Incorporated (as "MasterCard") bears no obligations and liabilities for any matters related to each product and service (including but not limited to its quality and quantity).
  11. The decision of DFS Hong Kong Limited ("DFS HK") and MasterCard in respect of any dispute arising out of the Voucher shall be final.
  12. MasterCard and DFS HK may vary these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  13. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.


ifc mall Terms and Conditions for Participation
  1. Fall/Winter 2008 Campaign (hereinafter called "Promotion") is held between 26 August 2008 and 12 October 2008 (both dates inclusive) (hereinafter called "Promotional Period") in ifc mall. Valid MasterCard® Cardholders (hereinafter called "Cardholders") are eligible to participate in the Promotion.
  2. Eligible Cardholders who spend HK$3,000 or above (excluding purchase of cash and gift vouchers, spending in restaurants and cafés, banking services, telecommunication services, car parks, Four Seasons Hotel, Four Seasons Place and Octopus card reload or any value added to store-value cards) in ifc mall in a single purchase with their MasterCard® credit cards during the Promotional Period on the same day they will be entitled to receive a HK$200 ifc Gift Voucher (hereinafter called "Voucher").
  3. Eligible Cardholders are also entitled to enjoy the following services on the same day (Please refer to Point 11 for details.):
    • A Complimentary 3-hour Parking Service (upon spending HK$800 or above, computed by a maximum of two sales receipts in a day); or
    • A Complimentary 4-hour Valet Parking Service (upon spending HK$2,000 or above, a maximum of three single-day sales receipts); and
    • Complimentary Personal Porter Service
  4.   5. The Voucher and Exclusive Privileges will be offered on a first come, first served basis, while stock lasts. Certain terms and conditions shall apply. (Please refer to Points 10 and 12 for details.)
  6. Eligible Cardholders must present the original machine-printed sales receipt issued by ifc mall merchants, valid MasterCard® credit card and original credit card receipt (customer copy) at the Service Counter on Podium Level 2 outside Burberry (Service Hours: 11am – 10pm daily) on the same day to receive a Voucher and a coupon for either Complimentary 3-hour Parking Service or 4-hour Valet Parking Service. Receipt will be stamped by International Finance Centre Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called "ifc") authorized chops after registration. Out-dated receipt, duplicate receipt, re-printed receipt, damaged receipt and photocopies will not be accepted. No receipt is allowed to be re-used for redemption in the Promotion.
  7. Sales personnel of ifc mall shops are not allowed to join this Promotion nor to join the Promotion on behalf of any customers.
  8. Each Cardholder is eligible for one redemption per day and one Voucher per redemption.
  9. MasterCard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited (hereinafter called "MASTERCARD") and ifc will not accept any claim for the loss of the Voucher and will not replace any lost or damaged Voucher.
  10. Terms & Conditions for "HK$200 ifc Gift Voucher"

    1. Voucher is valid from the date of issue to 31 October 2008.
    2. Voucher can only be used at the outlets of the participating merchants (hereinafter called "Participating Merchants") in ifc mall. List of shop names and numbers of Participating Merchants is available at ifc mall Concierge and shown on ifc website (www.ifc.com.hk) and on the letter given together with the Voucher. The list is subject to change without prior notice.
    3. Voucher must be used together with MasterCard® credit cards.
    4. Voucher entitles the bearer to redeem goods and services of equivalent price to its face value at the outlets of the Participating Merchants in ifc mall on or before its expiry date. Voucher shall be invalid after the expiry date.
    5. Voucher can be used for once and for one transaction only and shall be collected upon redemption for goods and services. Only one Voucher can be used for each purchase.
    6. Voucher is only valid if stamped by ifc for authorization in the designated white boxes at the back of the Voucher.
    7. Any outstanding balance after deducting the face value of the Voucher must be settled by the Voucher bearer with his/her MasterCard® credit cards.
    8. Participating Merchants accepting the Voucher bear sole responsibility for all obligations and liabilities related to the goods or services provided in return.
    9. Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with other types of gift vouchers and other types of cash coupons provided by ifc mall and/or the Participating Merchants.
    10. Voucher (or any part thereof) cannot be redeemed for cash. The bearer is not entitled to any refund or exchange in cash. Any unused balance will be forfeited.
    11. Voucher is not exchangeable for any other vouchers and coupons.
    12. Voucher is invalid if found defaced or damaged.
    13. ifc will not accept any claim for the loss of Voucher, and the Voucher will not be replaced in case of loss or damage.
    14. Photocopy of Voucher is not accepted.
    15. MASTERCARD, ifc and Participating Merchants reserve the final right to amend and change any applicable terms and conditions of the Voucher without prior notice.
  11. Terms and Conditions for "Complimentary Parking", "Complimentary Valet Parking" and "Complimentary Personal Porter Service"
    1. Eligible Cardholders can redeem a coupon for either a single Complimentary 3-hour Parking Service or a single Complimentary 4-hour Valet Parking Service only once per day at ifc mall Concierge (Service Hours: 9am – 12pm daily) on Podium Level 1 or Service Counter on Podium Level 2 (Service Hours: 11am – 10pm daily). Each shopper can redeem and use only ONE coupon per day.
    2. The coupon for a single Complimentary 3-hour Parking Service is valid on the date of issue.
    3. The coupon for a single Complimentary 4-hour Valet Parking Service is valid for one month from the date of issue.
    4. The coupon for a single Complimentary 4-hour Valet Parking Service can be used for the next visit to ifc mall within the valid period.
    5. The coupon for a single Complimentary 4-hour Valet Parking Service must be presented to parking attendant at the Valet Parking Counter.
    6. Any unused balance cannot be redeemed for cash.
    7. Redeemed offers cannot be returned, exchanged for cash, discounts or other products.
    8. Cardholders using the coupon for a Complimentary 3-hour Parking Service will be charged HK$22 per hour (Mon-Fri) for parking after three hours.
    9. Cardholders using the coupon for a Complimentary 3-hour Parking Service will be charged HK$24 per hour (Sat, Sun & Public Holidays) for parking after three hours.
    10. Cardholders using the coupon for a Complimentary 4-hour Valet Parking Service will be charged HK$60 per hour for valet parking after four hours.
    11. Cardholders can have their purchases carried to their car, their waiting taxi or any other place in ifc mall free of charge with our Personal Porter Service.
    12. ifc reserves the right to amend the offer, terms and conditions without any prior notice. In case of any disputes, ifc’s decision shall be final and binding.
  12. Terms and conditions for "Exclusive Privileges of Participating Brands"
    1. Exclusive Privileges must be redeemed at the ifc mall outlets of the Participating Brands upon purchase.
    2. Exclusive Privileges cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions apart from this Promotion.
    3. MASTERCARD and ifc accept no liability for goods and services of Exclusive Privileges provided by Participating Brands.
    4. All Exclusive Privileges will be offered on a first come, first served basis, while stock lasts.
    5. Participating Brands have the right to replace the Exclusive Privileges with other offers without prior notice if out of stock.
    6. In case of any dispute, the decision of MASTERCARD, ifc and Participating Brands shall be final.
    7. Each Cardholder is eligible for one redemption of Exclusive Privileges per day from each Participating Brand.
  13. The Promotion is bound by the above terms and conditions. MASTERCARD, ifc, Participating Merchants and Participating Brands in the Promotion reserve the right to cancel, revise or suspend all or any part(s) of the Promotion, or the terms and conditions herein contained, at any time without prior notice or reason; may (but shall not be obliged to) give advance notice to Cardholders in the manner it deems appropriate in such cases.
  14. The decision of MASTERCARD and ifc on all matters relating to, or in connection with, the Promotion shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.
  15. In case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
  16. These terms and conditions shall be construed and governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
