Earn 2X ELEMENTS Points with MasterCard® at ELEMENTS – Terms and conditions

  1. "Earn 2X ELEMENTS Points with MasterCard card at ELEMENTS" (the "Promotion") runs from now until December 31, 2011, both dates inclusive (the "Promotion Period")
  2. MasterCard Cardholders ("Cardholders") who are ELEMENTS CLUB permanent members and who make any same-day spending with their MasterCard card at ELEMENTS during the Promotion Period are automatically eligible to join the Promotion.
  3. For MasterCard cardholders, who are ELEMENTS CLUB permanent members, every HK$1 same-day spending made with MasterCard card and processed by MasterCard payment network at ELEMENTS = 2X ELEMENTS Points for the MasterCard cardholder concerned.
  4. For World MasterCard cardholders, who are ELEMENTS CLUB permanent members, every HK$1 same-day spending made with World MasterCard card and processed by MasterCard payment network at ELEMENTS = 3X ELEMENTS Points for the World MasterCard cardholder concerned.
  5. Quotas apply and Cash Vouchers redemption is available on a first-come-first-served basis and while stocks last. A redemption letter will be issued at ELEMENTS CLUB during the regular cash vouchers redemption schedule.
  6. All redeemed Cash Vouchers have specific valid period printed on the back side of the vouchers. Expired cash voucher will be forfeited.
  7. For installment transactions, only the first month's instalment payment amount will be counted as spending for this Promotion.
  8. Tourists wishing to make a redemption must present a valid passport to register at the time of redemption.
  9. To be eligible for this Promotion, MasterCard cardholders must present original sales slips issued during the Promotion Period for registration at the designated redemption counter at ELEMENTS 2/F, Metal Zone between 10am and 10pm on the same day that the payment transaction is made. Eligible transactions made after 10pm will be counted as being made on the next Promotion Day.
  10. This offer applies to eligible transactions posted no later than December 31, 2011 within the Promotion Period (based on the posting date) only. Photocopied, damaged or expired sales slips will NOT be accepted. 
  11. Each eligible sales slip will be entitled to one registration entry only.
  12. Spending will be rounded down to the nearest dollar and the odd balance is not applicable to the calculation of the extra dollar.
  13. Any fraudulent, unauthorized, cancelled, refunded, unposted and/or split transactions will result in automatic forfeiture of the cardholders' eligibility for this Promotion.
  14. ELEMENTS Points cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-returnable, non-transferable and cannot be resold.
  15. In order to be eligible for this Promotion, MasterCard cardholders' account status of the related card must remain valid and normal during the Promotion Period or at the time when ELEMENTS Points are being awarded. Should a MasterCard cardholder's account be cancelled or in violation of the terms & conditions of the Card User Agreement, or should his/her card account be in default during the Promotion Period or at the time when ELEMENTS points are awarded, the ELEMENTS points will automatically be forfeited.
  16. A valid ELEMENTS CLUB membership card must be presented at the time of redemption. Photocopied ELEMENTS CLUB membership card will NOT be accepted.
  17. Valid original same-day computer-printed receipts must be presented at the time ELEMENTS Points are redeemed. Shoppers must also present a corresponding MasterCard electronic payment slip that is processed by MasterCard payment network. The name on the ELEMENTS CLUB membership card and the MasterCard electronic payment slip must also be the same.
  18. ELEMENTS reserves the right to scan cardholders' computer-printed receipts and corresponding electronic payment slips for internal reference only.
  19. Eligible spending does not include any payment made with ELEMENTS Cash Vouchers or gift vouchers from any retail brands. ELEMENTS Points will be awarded only according to the payment amount made by MasterCard card and that is processed via MasterCard payment network.
  20. Receipts from bank charges, Essentia Healthcare Solutions (Medical & Dental Clinic), Mainland Coaches, membership fees payment, purchases of cash/gift vouchers and value-adding receipts from any shops or restaurants are NOT eligible. Duplicate, photocopied, online payment or handwritten receipts are not accepted.
  21. Redemption offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or discount, and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, spending credits or other goods/services.
  22. ELEMENTS will keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the data were collected. ELEMENTS may also retain archived personal data for operation and verification purposes. Personal Data which are no longer required will be destroyed within 2 months after the Promotion.
  23. MasterCard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited ("MasterCard") and ELEMENTS reserve the right to amend these terms & conditions as well as to vary or terminate the offers without prior notice. In the event of any dispute, the decision of MasterCard and ELEMENTS shall be final and binding. 
  24. In the event of any discrepancies or inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions of these terms & conditions, the English version shall prevail.

Privileged Parking Offers – Terms & Conditions:

  1. All complimentary parking offers are valid only to shoppers driving into ELEMENTS after 10am.
  2. Redemption for the complimentary parking offer must be made during the same visit to ELEMENTS by presenting a corresponding Octopus at the Concierge Counters or redemption counter at 2/F Metal Zone (from 10am to 10pm).
  3. MasterCard cardholders must present a maximum of 3 valid original payment slips for same-day spending to make redemptions.
  4. Each receipt can be used a maximum of one redemption during this promotion. Each single receipt can be used for either Complimentary Parking or Complimentary Valet Parking Service once only. Redeemed offers cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
  5. Valid original same-day computer-printed receipts and an eligible MasterCard card must be presented at the time of redemption. MasterCard cardholders must also present the corresponding electronic payment slip made by their MasterCard cards.
  6. Payment of parking fee (if any) must be made by Octopus. Cash payments will NOT be accepted. The name on the MasterCard card, Octopus card and the electronic payment slip must be the same.
  7. ELEMENTS reserves the right to scan shopper's computer-printed receipts and corresponding electronic payment slips for internal reference only.
  8. Receipts from bank charges, Essentia Healthcare Solutions (Medical & Dental Clinic), Mainland Coaches, membership fee payment, purchases of cash/gift vouchers and value-adding receipts from any shops or restaurants are NOT eligible.
