Kids Go Free - 2010 Booking Terms & Conditions

Your contract

  1. These booking terms and conditions govern your booking. Where Emirates books a hotel or other ground services in its capacity as agent for a third party supplier, your contract for that accommodation or service will be subject to the relevant supplier's terms and conditions which could limit or exclude liability to you.
  2. No contract will come into existence until we accept your request for a booking and receive full payment in cleared funds.
  3. When you submit your request for a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept (and do accept) these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and all persons covered by your booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information given to you in connection with this booking by us or any third party supplier is passed on to everyone on whose behalf you are making, or have made, the booking.
  4. If you are making a booking for more than one person, you are responsible for all payments due from every person for whom that booking is made.
  5. Prices are per person in country specific currencies and are set in line with exchange rates at time of print. Please note prices are subject to change without notice.
  6. The prices provided in each validity period are only applicable for stays that begin and end within the same period. For stays that overlap into the next validity period, please contact your travel agent and/or your local Emirates office to determine the accurate price
  7. All the featured hotels and services are subject to availability.

"Kids Go Free" Validity & Inclusions

  1. Valid from 14th May to 30th September 2010 (both dates inclusive).
  2. Pre packaged minimum 3 night's stay in select hotels based in Dubai inclusive of return Emirates flights.
  3. Complimentary return Economy or Business class flight on Emirates to Dubai for up to a maximum of two children below 16 years of age when travelling with two paying adults.
  4. Free UAE entry visa for up to two kids under 16 years for every two paying adults
  5. Free accommodation for up-to a maximum of two children under 16 years of age when booked to stay with two paying adults (Kindly refer to the price list for details)
  6. Free Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for up to a maximum of two children under 16 years of age, at selected food & beverage outlets at the hotel booked to stay in.
  7. Free entrance to a wide range of attractions for up to a maximum of two children under 16 years of age when accompanied by two paying adults. (Kindly refer to the attractions Terms & conditions for details)
  8. Free travel for two kids under 16 years for every two paying adults on the Dubai Metro (Kindly refer to the attractions Terms & conditions for details)

Emirates Flights / Free Child Conditions

  1. Complimentary return Emirates flight to Dubai for up to a maximum of two children below 16 years of age when travelling with two paying adults and is ONLY valid in economy or business class, and must be booked in the specified Reservations Booking Designator (RBD).
  2. Reservations are required for all sectors
  3. Valid for travel between 14th May – 30th September 2010
Prices do not include airport taxes, visa fees, sales taxes, exit charges levied by local authorities, custom duties, excess baggage charges, porterage, personal and baggage insurance.

On Arrival (Dubai)

Clients will be met and assisted upon arrival into Dubai International airport by uniformed staff who will meet & greet clients and hand over:

  1. Welcome Pack including maps and information on Dubai
  2. Details of the 24-hour emergency assistance telephone number

Children Stay & Eat for free / Child Sharing & Meal Terms

  1. Hotels will provide free accommodation for up-to a maximum of two children under 16 years of age when booked to stay with two paying adults (Kindly refer to the price list for details)
  2. Meals for children include breakfast, lunch, and dinner at selected outlets.
  3. Room types offered in the price list are the only category valid for Kids Go Free Offer. Upgrades or changes to room types not included on price list are not possible.

Kid's attractions voucher booklet and The Dubai Mall discount shopping voucher booklet

  1. A welcome Pack that would include the attractions and shopping voucher booklets will be handed over upon check-in at the hotel the guests are booked to stay in.

Check-in / Check-out:

  1. Check-in time is 15:00 hours and check-out time is 12:00 hours.
  2. Hotels reserve the right to charge for periods when the room is occupied before check-in time or after check-out time. It is therefore recommended that you keep in mind your early arrival or late check-out requirements when booking the number of nights. Extra nights may be booked.

    Note:
    1. Passengers travelling alone cannot avail themselves of half-twin room prices but must pay the single room price.

    2. Prices do not include laundry, meals and all other expense not specifically listed in the brochure. Use of facilities at some hotels such as health centre, business centre, spa, etc. may be subject to a fee and you are advised to check with the hotels prior to use. Optional attractions and tours are payable directly.

    3. Due to construction and maintenance work in and around some of the featured hotels, you may experience some disturbance. We regret the inconvenience caused however Emirates will not take responsibility for such disruptions.

Booking Procedure

Bookings can be made through your travel agent or any Emirates office. Once you have booked and confirmed your flight, to book a Kids Go Free stay all you have to do is simply select your hotel from the options in the brochure. In case your chosen hotel is unavailable, we will offer a suitable alternative. Bookings must be made prior to your departure for Dubai though booking well in advance is recommended. Full payment is mandatory at the time of booking.

  1. Kids Go Free Packages may be booked by any passenger travelling with Emirates to Dubai;
  2. Packages can be booked as per the specified Reservations Booking Designator (RBD) mentioned in the price list;
  3. Must be booked in advance
  4. Must be fully paid for at the time of booking;
  5. Must be purchased outside the United Arab Emirates
  6. Not valid for groups of more than 10 persons travelling together.

Passengers are advised to purchase suitable insurance cover (medical, repatriation etc.). Insurance packages are available through Emirates Holidays. Please request at the time of booking.

Payment with MasterCard

  1. Emirates shall offer a 10% discount on "Kids Go Free" package sales for bookings and payments made directly with the Emirates ticketing offices or call centres using MasterCard.
  2. However, the discount is not applicable for package sales made in Europe, Americas, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Africa and India.

Visas and passports

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that all those travelling with them hold a valid passport and visa for their f粓nal destination via the UAE. Emirates can only supply single entry visas. The following nationalities do not require visas:

Western European Countries: United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, Spain, Monaco, Vatican City, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein.

North America: USA, Canada

Pacific Rim: Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brunei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea.

All visa charges must be paid at the time of booking and are non-refundable, even in the event that the visa is not granted.

Alterations / Cancellations / Refunds

  1. For amendments received outside 3 working days of arrival to Dubai, US$150 fee applies per paying passenger (Adult & Child) per amendment
  2. For cancellations received outside 3 working days of arrival to Dubai, US$150 fee applies per paying passenger (Adult & Child)
  3. For amendments, cancellations and/or no-show received within 3 working days of arrival to Dubai, 100% non refundable charges apply.
  4. All visas are non refundable without exception.
  5. Partially utilized services are non refundable without exception.
  6. Requests for refunds will only be considered if submitted in writing within three months of the date on which the reservation was made.

Emirates liability to you

Where Emirates sells to you services provided by a third party in its capacity as an authorised agent of such third party or acts as an agent on behalf of any third party supplier, it is not responsible for negligent acts or omissions of such suppliers, their employees, agents or representatives, nor for any deficiency in the service provided and, in particular, Emirates has no liability for loss, personal injury or death however incurred unless such loss, personal injury or death is caused solely by Emirates' negligence.

As an international carrier Emirates is subject to international conventions which govern and may limit Emirates' liability to you in respect of compensation for death or personal injury, loss of, or damage to, your baggage and for delay. The limitations of liability are contained in your ticket and form a part of the terms and conditions which govern your carriage by air with Emirates. You acknowledge that the terms and conditions which govern your carriage by air, including limits on liability imposed by applicable international conventions, shall be deemed to be included by reference into this contract.

Emirates reserves the right to cancel or change any KGF service and is unable to accept any responsibility for loss, damage or expense due to unusual, unforeseeable events beyond Emirates reasonable control, the consequences of which could not be avoided even if all due care had been exercised, including but not limited to delays or changes in schedules, technical or maintenance problems, hotel overbooking or defaults, sickness, adverse weather conditions, natural or industrial disasters, war, terrorist activity, quarantine or other causes. You accept full responsibility for any such loss, damage or expense.
