EduCard is an online consumer education platform designed to help Romanian banks restore trust in financial services and to help Romanian consumers better manage their finances.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
In November 2009 MasterCard launched EduCard, an online consumer education platform designed to help banks restore trust in financial services and to help consumers better manage their finances. The platform has generated enormous interest from Romanian consumers and top-tier online media.
The EduCard platform features personal finance editorials by renowned former financial journalist Ioana Ursu. Each month, Ursu writes focuses on a new personal finance topic, providing consumers with invaluable financial advice on a variety of subjects.
The non-governmental, non-profit and politically unaffiliated National Association for Consumer Protection and Promotion of Programs and Strategies (ANPCPPSR) from Romania is also an active advocate of EduCard. ANPCPPSR has disseminated cards and posters to help EduCard raise awareness about smart spending and credit strategies.
