Linked to the IP5 motorway, access by road from Porto and Coimbra is siumple, and the stadium is also well served by bus and rail connections to and from the centre of Aveiro.

Practical considerations
Parking places have been provided for 4,497 car-loads of spectators and 276 buses. In addition, there are facilities for the emergency services, media and seperate areas designated for coaching staff, players, referees and VIPs.
