Charitable Giving: MasterCard’s philanthropic efforts are focused on furthering financial inclusion through entrepreneurship. We believe that by supporting entrepreneurship, we will be able to help individuals overcome barriers to financial inclusion. Ultimately, this helps people achieve positive economic outcomes for themselves, their families and their communities. We support a variety of organizations and programs that help create and sustain entrepreneurs around the world:

Entrepreneurship Education: We support business and financial literacy programs that actively train the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Economic Empowerment Initiatives: We are helping create new businesses while also supporting existing small businesses thrive and grow by supporting programs that provide education, training and technology.

We do not accept unsolicited proposals.

Employee Involvement: At MasterCard, we actively encourage volunteering. It’s just one of the many ways our employees give of themselves. Our global volunteer policy provides our employees with two paid days to volunteer in their local communities.

Our employees volunteer their time in many ways:

• Teaching students financial literacy from kindergarten to high school
• Mentoring young aspiring business entrepreneurs in middle and high school
• Participating in community rebuild projects
• Partnering with NGOs through skills-based volunteering

Our employees also serve as volunteer board members for many charitable organizations. And, in recognition of employees' individual efforts, the MasterCard Volunteer Incentive Program provides grants to charitable organizations where our employees volunteer.

We also support employees' personal contributions to charitable organizations through MasterCard's Matching Gift Program. We match employees' individual donations dollar-for-dollar and match disaster relief donations 2-for-1, up to $5,000 per year per employee.

Disaster Relief: MasterCard supports disaster relief efforts through its partnership with the Red Cross, the International Rescue Committee and other relief organizations.
