In March of 1919 the Ontario Hockey Association donated the OHA MasterCard Memorial Cup to honor and remember the many young men and women who made the supreme sacrifice for Canada in World War I.

Since 1919 the MasterCard Memorial Cup has been awarded to Canada's National Junior Champions and in Kelowna, British Columbia in May of 2004 this prestigious and storied trophy will be presented for the 86th time.
