As Senior Vice President, Issuer Sales and Account Management, Sal Soyer is responsible for managing MasterCard’s relationships and account development efforts with its current issuers and issuer prospects.

Mr. Soyer has more than 18 years experience in the Canadian banking and card services industries. He joined MasterCard Canada in 1999 as Vice President, Member Relations, and has since held a variety of senior positions in Sales and Customer Marketing as well as Segment Strategies.

Before joining MasterCard, Mr. Soyer held senior management positions in account management, sales strategy and business-to-business marketing with American Express Canada and National Trust.

Mr. Soyer holds a bachelor's degree, with honours, in economics and financial management from the University of Guelph.
