Welcome to Credit Report Week. Welcome to Credit Report Week.

MasterCard Canada wants you to understand what your credit rating is, and to make sure it’s error-free. Your credit rating is the snapshot that institutions look at to assess you as a credit worthiness. It’s how they decide whether to give you a mortgage, a car loan, even an apartment.

Starting at 8:00 am on September 20, 2004, MasterCard Canada is providing TransUnion Canada online credit reports at no charge to the first 10,000 people to order them. TransUnion Canada’s online credit report is normally available for a fee of $14.99.

To check your own credit report online and for free, simply click here and follow the instructions.

MasterCard is not responsible for providing credit reports to consumers nor is it MasterCard's responsibility for the failure to provide credit reports by any credit reporting agency.
