MasterCard Names Betty K. DeVita President of MasterCard Canada
Former Chairman and CEO, Citibank Canada, Brings Diverse International Experience
DeVita is a 28-year veteran of Citibank operations in North America, Latin America and Asia. In addition to leading Canadian operations, she was Country Business Manager and Senior Executive Vice President for Citibank Korea, Regional Business Executive for the Global Consumer Franchise in North Latin America including Venezuela, Columbia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Panama and the Bahamas, and held a variety of other management roles including starting with Citibank at the retail branch level in New York. She holds a B.S. from St. John’s University, New York and the CEO Program Certificate from Wharton-KMA in Seoul, Korea. She has served as a member of the Executive Council of the Canadian Bankers Association and in 2009 was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network. She recently earned the Institute of Corporate Directors certification at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

DeVita succeeds Kevin Stanton who was earlier named President of MasterCard Advisors, the company’s international professional services arm.
