MasterCard Canada’s Advice to Canadians Who Purchased Vacation Packages from Go Travel South with their MasterCard Credit Card
TORONTO, February 25, 2010 – MasterCard Canada is advising Canadians, who purchased vacation packages with their MasterCard credit card and are unable to obtain a refund for cancelled vacation bookings in connection with Go Travel South ceasing operations, to contact their card issuer by calling the phone number on the back of their credit card.
It is the general policy that if you do not receive the goods or services you purchased with your MasterCard credit card then you’re entitled to a refund of those funds. It is important to gather all the information – receipts, copies of tickets, etc. – and contact your card issuer as early as possible so your issuer can review your situation on an individual basis. This is a prime example of one of the important purchase protections offered by MasterCard credit card issuers.About MasterCard Worldwide
