Guests Earn Unlimited Free Nights With Gold Passport’s Faster Free Nights Promotion With MasterCard®

CHICAGO – May 14, 2003 – Hyatt announced today that it will again launch the highly acclaimed Faster Free Nights‘ promotion in partnership with MasterCard International. The Faster Free Nights promotion allows Hyatt Gold Passport members to earn unlimited free nights at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide when they pay for their stay with any MasterCard card from June 1, 2003 through August 31, 2003. Touted as “the best hotel promotion of 2002” by Inside Flyer magazine, Hyatt introduced Faster Free Nights last year with outstanding reviews from the travel industry and customers.

Faster Free Nights awards Hyatt Gold Passport members with a free night after every two stays when paying with any MasterCard card. Members can redeem their free nights from June 15, 2003 through October 31, 2003. These awards are provided in addition to the Gold Passport points and exclusive services and benefits members can earn on each Hyatt stay.

"After our first joint promotion last Fall with MasterCard, the response from our customers was overwhelmingly positive regarding the ease of earning unlimited free nights," said Amy Weyman, vice president of Gold Passport and marketing systems for Hyatt Hotels Corporation. "We are excited to be offering this promotion again so travellers can accumulate free nights quickly and enjoy them with their families this summer and fall."

"It’s no surprise that Hyatt's Faster Free Nights promotion has quickly gained popularity among travellers around the world," said Fred P. Gore, senior vice president of North America Acceptance for MasterCard International. "We are truly pleased to join Hyatt once again to provide MasterCard cardholders a rewarding offer that arrives just in time for the summer and delivers the flexibility consumers desire."

There is no limit to the number of free nights members can earn. Free nights can be redeemed easily at any participating Hyatt worldwide. Awards can be booked at www.goldpassport.com, by calling 1-800-51-HYATT, or at the nearest Hyatt Worldwide reservation center. Gold Passport, Hyatt’s worldwide frequent guest program is free to join.
