Sydney, 7 July 2009 - Bloc Party fans that missed out on 2009 Splendour in the Grass tickets will get one more chance to see the band play at an intimate gig in Sydney hosted by MasterCard on July 28.

Tickets to the exclusive gig, held at the Museum of Contemporary Art will be extremely limited and will go on sale this Thursday, 9th July at 9AM AEST. Tickets can be purchased at www.mastercard.com.au/music with a Debit MasterCard only.

Well before their first album was even released in 2005, Bloc Party has been rocking crowds with their unique energy and sound that has made them one of the hottest touring acts around. Since releasing their third album in August '08, 'Intimacy', the band has been busy touring the world playing to sold-out stadium and festival gigs across Europe, UK and the US.

Bloc Party will be the first act in a series of intimate concerts that MasterCard will be hosting from this month onwards exclusively for Debit MasterCard holders.
