The Withcott Kits Up for FIFA World Cup™

Ipswich Junior Soccer Player Wins Latest Training Kits for his Entire Team.

Helidon soccer player, Ben Webster was one of eleven lucky Australian junior soccer players to win a major prize in the MasterCard Junior Football Competition, winning his team professional training gear, just like his FIFA World Cup heroes.
The competition, open to registered junior soccer players aged 6 to 16 years old, required kids to enter online at www.teammate.net.au and write a 50 word story about their favourite team-mate.
Ben’s outstanding submission was chosen from thousands of entries, winning Ben and his team, the Withcott, the latest football gear including bags, tracksuits, socks, hats, t-shirts and kit bags.

According to Michelle Pilot, vice-president, Marketing, Australasia, MasterCard Worldwide, the competition provided MasterCard with the opportunity to provide support to Australia’s next generation of soccer champions.
“MasterCard, as official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup is delighted at the opportunity to give encouragement to our aspiring young football players through this competition. We realise junior players can often struggle to obtain support, so we are pleased to offer prizes that can be shared by the whole team,” Pilot said.
“In judging the competition, we looked for entries that demonstrated teamwork, good sportsmanship and mateship – the qualities which are so important in both sport and life and on behalf of MasterCard, I would like to congratulate Ben for his fantastic story and wish the Withcott the best of luck during their season,” added Pilot.
