Junior Golfer Set to Take on the ProfessionalsQueenslands's Kevin Lee has won junior Masters Perth
Queensland’s Keven Lee has won junior golf’s most coveted title, the
MasterCard Junior golf tournament, held at The Vines Resort and Country
Club, Perth, this week.
The rising star of golf triumphed over a highly competitive field of 99
outstanding junior golfers to win opportunity to compete against the
world’s best in a professional tournament later this year. Kevin has
won a place to compete in the MasterCard Masters golf tournament,
taking place at Victoria’s Huntingdale Golf Course in November. Natalie Lockwood, vice president, Marketing, Asia/Pacific, Middle
East and Africa, MasterCard Worlwide said, “MasterCard is a proud
supporter of golf and is dedicated to giving its support to the
development of up-and-coming players through its sponsorship of this
tournament. The MasterCard Junior Masters not only provides young
golfers with the opportunity to play against the best in the world, but
also provides them with a stepping stone to a professional career in
golf". The MasterCard Junior Masters golf tournament returned to the Vines Resort, Perth for its third successful year. This year’s tournament took place from 15 – 21 May. |
