Junior Golfer Set to Take on the Professionals

Junior New South Wale's Sarah Oh Wins MasterCard Junior Masters

New South Wales’ Sarah Oh, has won junior golf’s most coveted title, the MasterCard Junior Masters golf tournament, held at The Vines Resort and Country Club, Perth, this week.

The rising star of golf triumphed over a highly competitive field of 99 outstanding junior golfers to win the 'priceless' opportunity to compete against the world’s best in a professional tournament later this year. Sarah will compete in the ANZ Ladies Masters at Queensland’s Royal Pines Golf Course in early 2007.
Sarah demonstrated technical excellence and maturity beyond her years to defeat some of the best golfers from around Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines and South Africa.

The MasterCard Junior Masters golf tournament returned to the Vines Resort, Perth for its third successful year.  This year’s tournament took place from 15 – 21 May.
